The American-Made Solar Prize is a $3 million prize competition designed to energize U.S. solar manufacturing through a series of contests and the development of a diverse and powerful support network that leverages national laboratories, energy incubators, and other resources across the country.
The contest is tiered with 20 $50K awards in the first round. Then 10 of those will be selected to win $100K and finally 2 grand prize winners will recieve $500K. In addition vouchers are provided to work with federal labs on commercialzation.
The 4th and final cohort application is due on October 8th.
